Story
Scotvax is a family run and operated, premium International aquaculture company currently providing professional vaccination services to hatcheries and fish farms in Australia, Canada and New Zealand.
The company has Scottish roots, being founded in 2007 by Scottish born George Nisbett, who still works very actively on site with the farms but also with his staff to ensure a quality job and professional service the right way though. SCOTVAX will ensure the job is completed to a very high standard and always put the fish health as their number one priority.

The company has Scottish roots, being founded by Isle of Skye born George Nisbett, but the story of SCOTVAX actually begins in Norway.
In 2007, George was working in the aquaculture industry and saw first hand the quality of "professional vaccinators" that were being sent out to facilitate vaccination contracts. During this time, he had an opportunity to start a vaccination company, with farms ready to sign him and with staff ready to work for him that were not only excellent vaccinators, but also cared about the company, staff and fish they were working with. So starting with a small team and having a high performance expectation on his staff, SCOTVAX Norge was formed.
During this time in Norway, SCOTVAX developed strong connections and built up great relationships with hatchery managers. They quickly built up an excellent reputation within the industry. SCOTVAX began in the More og Romsdale region of Norway and quickly spreading north into Trondelag and south into Hordeland.

George made a huge decision to move to Australia in 2012 and starting talking with the industry down under. He was delighted to take SCOTVAX to Tasmania in 2013 and is currently still working with these hatcheries to ensure a professional vaccination job each year. Since then SCOTVAX has been working year round in New Zealand and Canada with a big expansion in Australasia being pushed out in 2019.
